Desert lines. A quieter kind of depth.

Layered desert SVG.
A landscape in relief.

Dune & Sol is an original layered desert SVG for laser cutting. An architectural arch frames rolling dunes, a connected cactus silhouette and a circular sun detail. Five separate layers build a small landscape with depth. Your digital download includes the cutting files, an English assembly guide and a dimensioned cut map.

Five SVG layers + guide200 × 200 mm artwork

An arch of sky.
A slow curve of sand.

The square outline keeps the composition ordered while successive dune edges introduce movement. A cactus rises from the foreground rather than floating as a separate piece. Behind the landscape, a circular opening in the sky layer reveals the solid backing as a sun.

Choose contrasting finishes to make the depth visible, or keep the palette restrained. Each layer remains one connected piece, with a shared outer outline for alignment.

The illustrative mockup shows a possible finished result. This is a digital file product; assembled artwork, sheet material, paint, adhesive, spacers, frames and display hardware are not included.

  1. Import and test

Confirm every outer outline measures 200 × 200 mm. Set red paths to Cut and preview internal openings before outer contours.

  2. Plan your finish

Test approved stock, cut quality and finishes on a sample. Keep layer orientation consistent with the cut map.

  3. Align and assemble

Dry-stack from the solid backing toward the front. Align outer edges, then use adhesive suitable for your chosen material.

The design has not been physically cut or assembled. No universal thickness, power, speed or pass count is supplied. Prototype before production.

Good questions,
clear answers.

What will I receive?

Five original SVG layer files, an English assembly and laser-preparation guide, and a dimensioned cut-map PNG. The PNG is a reference image, not a machining file.

Does this layered desert SVG include a shadow box?

No physical box or box-building file is included. For a framed display, choose your own frame with enough internal width, height and depth for the measured finished stack.

Can I resize the artwork?

Yes. Scale all five layers together by the same factor. Resizing changes narrow sections and clearances, so inspect them and test the revised size.

Preparing for Glowforge, xTool or Epilog

Glowforge: Upload each SVG, verify scale and assign Cut operations.

xTool Studio/XCS: Import the vectors and check dimensions. Studio’s SVG import DPI can affect size.

Epilog: Open the SVG in suitable graphics software and use the model’s supported driver/Dashboard. Preserve centered 0.025 mm vector strokes.

Other CO₂/diode systems: LightBurn supports SVG import for compatible controllers. Use Line operations, not Fill. File import alone does not establish machine or stock compatibility.

Which materials can I use?

Choose laser-approved sheet stock for your exact machine and wavelength. Acrylic is model-dependent: Glowforge Aura/Spark guidance excludes clear, white and blue acrylic; xTool S1 guidance also lists transparent, mirrored and primarily blue materials among its limitations. A colour shown in the mockup is not a material recommendation.

Can I sell finished artwork?

Yes. Personal projects and sales of physical items you make are permitted. Reselling, sharing or redistributing the digital files, including modified versions, is not permitted.
