Verdant Fold is an original gift box SVG for cutting and scoring foldable cardstock. Separate base and lid nets form a small box with six leaf-shaped openings in its removable lid. Your digital download includes the SVG, an English assembly guide and an annotated fold map.

Six pointed leaves follow two open arcs across the lid. The cut-through pattern adds a quiet botanical detail to handmade gift packaging, party favours and small keepsakes.
Each net has four walls and four clipped glue tabs. The base and lid are folded and glued separately, giving you a removable cover and a compact presentation.
The product mockup illustrates a possible result. Cardstock, glue, gifts and styling props are not included.

Import and assign
Verify the page size and 60 mm base panel. Set red paths to Cut and blue paths to Score with separately tested settings. Score first, then cut the leaf openings and outer contours.

Fold and glue
Use the fold map to crease the walls and tabs. Fold each piece upright, glue its four tabs inside adjacent walls and allow the adhesive to dry.

Check the lid fit
Dry-fit the lid before making a batch. Its panel is 2 mm wider than the base panel; material thickness, fold accuracy and glue can change the fit.
This design has not been physically cut, scored or assembled. Machine settings are not supplied. Check your machine’s approval for the cardstock and any coatings; choose adhesive suitable for the stock. Preview every operation and test a prototype before production.

What files will I receive?
One original gift box SVG, an English README and a fold-map PNG. The PNG is an assembly reference, not a laser cutting file.
Is this a physical gift box?
No. This is a digital template for foldable cardstock. A finished box, materials, adhesive, tools and contents are not supplied.
Can I crease the folds by hand?
Yes. Ignore the blue SCORE group during laser processing and use the fold map to hand-crease the corresponding fold lines.
Can I resize this gift box SVG?
Scale both nets together proportionally. Resizing changes the box, glue tabs, leaf openings and lid clearance, so make a new prototype and check fit.
Preparing for Glowforge, xTool or Epilog
Glowforge: Upload the SVG, then confirm red Cut and blue Score operations in the preview.
xTool Studio/XCS: Import the SVG, verify dimensions and assign Cut and Score separately. In Studio, SVG import DPI can affect size.
Epilog: Open the SVG in Illustrator and send it through your model’s driver/Dashboard. Preserve centered 0.025 mm strokes; assign separate cut and light-score settings by colour.
Other CO₂/diode systems: LightBurn imports SVG for supported controllers. Set both colours to Line, with separate cut/score settings. File import does not establish material suitability or universal machine compatibility.
Can I sell finished boxes?
Yes. Personal projects and sales of physical boxes you make are permitted. Reselling, sharing or redistributing the digital files, including modified versions, is not permitted.
