VectorDay / Information & trust
Privacy Policy.
The VectorDay Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you browse our SVG designs, create an account, purchase digital downloads or contact us.
01 / About this policy
Who we are.
VectorDay provides digital SVG designs for laser cutting, papercraft and handmade projects at www.vectorday.com. This policy covers information handled through this website and related customer support.
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@vectorday.com or use our Contact Us form.
02 / What you share
Information we handle.
- Enquiries: your name, email address, subject, optional product or order reference, and the message you send.
- Accounts: registration and profile details you provide, together with information needed to sign in and manage your account.
- Orders and downloads: customer and billing details provided at checkout, products purchased, order references, transaction status and information used to provide download access or resolve an order issue.
- Public contributions: profile details, reviews or other content you choose to make public can be visible to other visitors. Avoid including private information in public content, and remove embedded location data from images before uploading them.
- Technical information: website and hosting systems may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, access times and error or security logs when providing the site.
Please share only the information needed for your enquiry. Do not send payment card numbers, passwords or sensitive documents through the contact form or ordinary email.
03 / Why it is needed
How we use information.
We use relevant information to operate the website, manage accounts, process orders, provide digital downloads, answer questions and investigate technical or payment issues. Information may also be used to protect accounts, prevent misuse, maintain business records, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to fulfil a purchase or another request, meet a legal obligation, or pursue legitimate interests such as service support and security. Where consent is required for a particular use, that use should be explained when consent is requested; consent can be withdrawn for future processing.
04 / A direct conversation
Contact forms and email.
Our Contact Us page uses Contact Form 7. The current form sends your enquiry to contact@vectorday.com so we can respond. The form includes the fields listed under “Enquiries” above; the product or order reference is optional.
The current Contact Form 7 setup sends enquiries by email rather than maintaining a separate form-submission database. Messages and replies can remain in the support mailbox and associated email systems. Our hosting and email providers process information needed to transmit, deliver and maintain those messages.
Sending an enquiry does not itself subscribe you to a newsletter. For more about the form software, see the Contact Form 7 plugin privacy notices.
07 / Keeping information
Retention and security.
Retention depends on the information and its purpose. Enquiry correspondence may be kept to respond and handle follow-up questions. Account and order records may be needed to manage your account, provide download access, maintain transaction records and meet legal, tax or dispute-related obligations. Technical logs may be needed for operation, troubleshooting and security.
A deletion request is considered alongside those purposes and applicable obligations. Copies may remain in backups or a service provider’s systems until their normal retention cycle ends. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and keep your account credentials private.
08 / Your information
Your choices and privacy requests.
You can choose what information to provide, update available account details and control cookies in your browser. Some information is needed to answer a request, complete a purchase or provide an account feature.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant privacy authority.
Send requests to contact@vectorday.com with enough detail to identify the relevant account, order or enquiry. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Requests are handled subject to applicable law, identity verification and any information we must retain. Avoid sending identity documents unless we explain why a specific verification step is needed.
09 / Beyond this website
Other websites and children.
Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. If you use an external payment page or third-party embedded content, that provider may receive technical information and use its own cookies. Review its notice before providing information.
Our store is intended for people able to use its account and purchase features responsibly. If you believe a child has supplied personal information that should not be held, contact us so we can review the circumstances and any appropriate action.
10 / Keeping this current
Updates to this Privacy Policy.
This policy may be updated when website features, service providers or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Please review this page when you have questions about how information is handled.
