VectorDay / From file to finished piece

Terms &
Conditions.

Our Terms and Conditions explain purchasing digital SVG files, using your designs and getting help with an order. Clear information for thoughtful making.

01 / About these terms

Who these terms cover.

VectorDay provides digital SVG designs for laser cutting, papercraft and handmade projects at www.vectorday.com. These Terms and Conditions describe the use of this website and the purchase and use of our digital products. Read them alongside the product description and any product-specific licence presented before purchase.

Questions can be sent to contact@vectorday.com or through our Contact Us page. You must be legally able to make the purchase, or have it made by someone authorised to do so.

02 / What you are buying

Digital files, clearly described.

Our products are digital downloads. Only the files and guides specified on the relevant product page are included. Finished physical items, materials, machines, tools, display frames and styling props are not supplied unless expressly stated.

Product images illustrate the design and a possible finished result. Material, finishing, scale and production choices can change the appearance of what you make. Check the listed file contents, dimensions, construction, required software and intended use before ordering.

03 / Orders & payments

Review your order before paying.

Review the selected product, displayed currency and final checkout total before confirming payment. Payments are handled through the payment service presented at checkout, currently Stripe. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion or other charges.

Keep the order and payment confirmation for reference. If you notice an incorrect charge, duplicate order or payment problem, contact us with the order reference. Never send full payment card details or account passwords in an enquiry.

Prices and offers may change for future purchases. A later price change does not alter the price already agreed for an existing order.

04 / Download access

Receiving and keeping your files.

Download access is provided through the website’s order and download process following the relevant payment confirmation. Follow the instructions associated with your order. ZIP archives need to be extracted before the SVG files can be opened in suitable software.

If access is missing or a file cannot be downloaded, contact us with the product name, order reference and a description of the problem. Keep a backup of files you have lawfully downloaded. Do not assume that an account or download link provides permanent storage or unlimited future access.

05 / SVG usage licence

Make personal pieces. Sell physical work.

For the designs offered under our standard usage terms, a valid purchase permits personal projects and the sale of finished physical items that you make from the design. Follow any specific licence clearly presented for the selected product before purchase.

  • You may resize or adjust a purchased design for your permitted making projects. Changes do not create permission to redistribute the digital design.
  • You may not resell, share, give away or redistribute the digital files, including modified digital versions.
  • You may not offer the files as your own digital product or claim authorship of the original design.

A purchase grants the stated permission to use the files; it does not transfer copyright ownership. If your intended use is not clearly covered, ask us before purchasing or using the design. These terms do not retrospectively reduce a licence already granted for a previous purchase.

06 / Software & machines

Prepare the file for your workflow.

Review the product’s English preparation guide and its stated file requirements. Check SVG import support in your software and the workflow for your exact machine model. References to Glowforge, xTool, Epilog, CO₂ or diode equipment describe relevant preparation workflows; they do not mean every machine, controller, material or software version has been tested.

Verify dimensions, layers, cut, score and engrave operations before production. Resizing can change holes, clearances, bridges and narrow details. File-format support alone does not establish material suitability or a successful finished result.

Use materials approved for your exact equipment and follow the manufacturer’s safety and operating instructions. Make an appropriate test piece before production. Review any design-specific test status and limitations stated on the product page or in its guide. No universal power, speed or material setting is supplied.

07 / Problems, cancellations & refunds

Let us help with a problem.

If a download is inaccessible, damaged, incomplete or different from its description, contact contact@vectorday.com. Include the product name, order reference, software and version, and the error or result you experienced. Share only the details needed to investigate.

We will review the issue and work with you on an appropriate solution, such as restoring access, correcting or replacing a file, or providing another remedy required by applicable law. You can also contact us about duplicate purchases, mistaken orders, cancellation or refund requests; the appropriate outcome depends on the circumstances and your applicable rights.

Digital products are not exempt from mandatory consumer protections. Any cancellation rights and the conditions for immediate digital delivery depend on applicable law and the information and consent provided at checkout. These Terms and Conditions alone do not waive those rights. Nothing here removes a right to a remedy for faulty or misdescribed digital content where the law provides one.

08 / Accounts & website use

Use the service responsibly.

Provide accurate information needed for your order and keep account credentials private. Let us know if you believe your account or a download has been accessed without permission.

Do not use the site for unlawful activity, attempt to access another person’s account or order, interfere with site security, or distribute files in breach of their licence. If you publish a review, profile or other content, ensure you have the right to share it and avoid exposing someone else’s private information.

Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address misuse, fraud or a security problem. A restriction does not remove obligations relating to paid purchases or remedies required by applicable law.

10 / Responsibility & your rights

Your mandatory rights remain.

Product descriptions and agreed licence permissions form part of the information relevant to your purchase. Preparation notes explain practical requirements and limitations; they do not remove rights that the law gives you.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including any applicable mandatory consumer guarantee or remedy. If part of these terms cannot lawfully apply, that does not remove those protections or automatically invalidate the remaining provisions.

If you have a complaint, contact us so we can try to resolve it with you. These terms do not require you to give up a right to use a competent court, regulator or other remedy available under applicable law.

11 / Changes & contact

Keeping the terms current.

The date at the top identifies this version. Updates apply to future use and purchases from the stated update date; they do not retrospectively replace the terms or reduce the rights agreed for an existing order. Keep a copy of the terms and product information relevant to your purchase.

For questions about these Terms and Conditions, a licence or an order, contact contact@vectorday.com.

A clear start to your next project.
