Apiary Crest is an original bee gift box SVG for flexible, laser-approved uncoated cardstock. Make a glued rectangular tray and a separate decorated lift-off lid from two vector templates. Your digital download includes an English assembly and laser-preparation guide and an annotated fold map.

A stylized bee sits within a geometric crest, pairing organic wings with the measured rhythm of hexagon-inspired rays. This original arrangement gives a small lid a clear focal point.
Consider it for garden parties, bee-themed celebrations and thoughtful thank-you gifts after checking your contents against an assembled sample. The bee and crest are surface decoration rather than cut-through honeycomb. The lid remains a continuous cardstock panel. No lettering or font dependency is included.

Prepare and test
Import at 100%, verify page and net dimensions and inspect Preview. Map red to Cut, blue to a separately tested shallow Score and black fills to optional light Engrave. Never through-cut blue folds. If scoring is unsuitable, disable every blue path and hand-crease from the map. Complete decoration and safe scoring before releasing outside contours where supported.

Fold and assemble
Pre-crease eight folds in each part. Raise the sidewalls, bend tabs inward and glue the front and back walls over them. Keep each part square while adhesive cures. Keep the decorated lid top facing outward; test it over the base before adding light contents. Glue and contents are added after laser processing. This is a loose lift-off closure without a latch.
Not physically test-cut, scored, engraved, assembled or load-tested. Test scrap and a complete prototype before batches or after changes. No load rating, food-contact, shipping-protection or guaranteed-capacity claim is supplied.

Glowforge: Upload the SVG in the app supported by your model. Verify dimensions and assign operations manually; colors do not establish settings.
xTool Studio / XCS: Use your model’s supported software. SVG import DPI can affect scale. Check measurements; excessive Score settings can cut through paper. Keep blue scoring separate from red cutting.
Epilog: Use Pulse on compatible models, or supported vector software and the correct driver. Confirm thin-stroke vector recognition, separate red cutting from shallow blue marking and keep black fills as engraving.
CO₂ or diode: Confirm software, controller, wavelength, bed size and cardstock support. Use only positively identified uncoated stock approved for the exact machine and processes. Avoid unknown, metallic, glittered, laminated, PVC/vinyl or prohibited materials. Follow manufacturer ventilation, supervision, hold-down and fire procedures. No universal power, speed, thickness or pass count is supplied. Excess marking can weaken paper. This is folded-cardstock geometry, not a rigid plywood or acrylic box.

What files and dimensions are included?
The ZIP contains base.svg, lid.svg, README.txt and fold-map.png. Each SVG page is 150 × 120 mm. The base net is 120 × 100 mm; the lid net is 104 × 84 mm before stroke width. Machine from the SVGs; the annotated PNG is a folding reference.
Will the lid fit my cardstock?
The base floor is nominally 70 × 50 mm with 25 mm walls. The lid top is 74 × 54 mm with 15 mm walls: 4 mm total panel-size oversize. These are design dimensions, not guaranteed internal capacity. Stock thickness, crease radius, kerf and glue affect fit; assemble a complete prototype.
Can I resize it or sell finished boxes?
Scale both parts and all operations together, then prototype again; scaling does not compensate for material thickness or kerf. Personal projects and sales of finished physical items you make are permitted. Do not resell, share, sublicense or redistribute source files, modified digital files or digital parts.
