Check which panels form the front, back, depth cap and any side walls or gussets. Keep surface artwork in its supplied orientation so it faces the correct way after folding. Follow the design-specific gluing and ribbon instructions, then check flap alignment and retention on a complete prototype. Nominal panels do not establish internal capacity or protective mailing performance.
Questions before you make.
How do I check the depth and flap closure?
Use the selected product’s panel dimensions, fold map and English guide. Identify any depth cap, gusset, side walls and closure holes before assembly. Test their alignment with the actual stock and ribbon, where required. A decorative envelope box is not automatically a protective mailer or a self-locking package.
Can I use the envelope SVG with my laser?
Use the SVG through software supported by your exact Glowforge, xTool, Epilog or other CO₂/diode equipment, following the selected product’s English guide. Confirm imported dimensions, approved stock and the supported controller or driver route. Map cuts separately from folds and surface decoration. Where fold paths are supplied, establish a shallow score on scrap or disable those paths and crease by hand; never through-cut structural folds. Import support is not a universal machine preset or physical test. Make a complete prototype before producing a batch.
