A small harvest. A thoughtful gathering.
Thanksgiving acorn ornament SVG.
An autumn detail to keep close.
Oak Ember is an original Thanksgiving acorn ornament SVG with a domed cap and nine engraved details on a solid face. The nominal outline is 100 × 130 mm, including the integral hanging tab, with one 5 mm hole. Includes one SVG and an English laser-preparation guide. Digital files only.
A Thanksgiving acorn.
A woodland harvest in miniature.
Oak Ember takes its form from a familiar woodland seed. A broad domed cap sits above a softly tapered body, with measured diamond marks above and three curved engravings below. The acorn offers an understated accent for a Thanksgiving arrangement, an autumn branch or a harvest gift.
One cap band, five diamond cap marks and three curved body marks form nine filled surface engravings. The cap and body remain a single solid silhouette with an integral top hanging tab. No cap pieces, decorative windows or separate layers need assembly; only the outside edge and the hanging hole are cut through.
The images illustrate a possible finished appearance and setting. Digital SVG and English guide only; finished ornaments, material, cord, tools, finishing supplies and styling props are not included.

Engrave the harvest detail.
Release the outline last.
-
Check the import
Extract the ZIP and import the SVG at 100%. Verify the 100 × 130 mm outline, 5 mm hole and both operation groups. Confirm approved stock, usable bed and focus requirements.
-
Engrave before release
Assign the 9 black filled shapes to engraving and the two red contours to cutting. Inspect Preview and establish settings on a scrap. Where supported, engrave first, cut the hanging hole next and release the outside edge last.
-
Finish and display
Preserve the solid acorn face and keep all nine decorative marks assigned to engraving. Finish your approved stock as appropriate and add a suitable cord through the finished hole. Check the finished hole, edges and intended hanging arrangement on a complete prototype.
This design has not been physically test-cut or test-engraved. Test a scrap, then make a complete prototype with your actual software, machine and approved stock before producing a batch. No universal laser preset is supplied.

Answers for the workbench.
What files will I receive?
The ZIP contains oak-ember-thanksgiving-acorn.svg and README.txt. The SVG combines the two cut contours and 9 surface-engraving shapes in named groups. The English guide covers dimensions, machine preparation and usage terms. Alternate formats, presets and physical goods are not included.
Is this a finished ornament?
This is a digital download only. You supply the approved material, machine, suitable cord and finishing supplies. A flat acorn hanging decoration for Thanksgiving and autumn displays. The cap pattern and body curves are surface engravings on a solid face. There is no acorn cavity, separate cap or layered assembly.
What size is the design, and does it need assembly?
The nominal outline is 100 × 130 mm, including the integral hanging tab, with one 5 mm hole. Dimensions describe the vector centerlines before kerf and finishing. It makes one flat solid piece; all decorative marks are surface engravings and there are no separate design layers to assemble.
How do I prepare it for Glowforge, xTool, Epilog or another laser?
Glowforge: Upload the SVG in the app supported by your exact model. Verify 100 × 130 mm and the 5 mm hole. Assign black filled shapes to Engrave and both red contours to Cut. Inspect the preview and establish settings for your approved stock.
xTool Studio / XCS: Import using software supported by your model. Studio SVG import DPI and XCS automatic resizing can change dimensions. Check the physical size and explicitly assign red to Cut and black filled decoration to Engrave.
Epilog: Open the SVG in supported vector graphics software and use the driver or Dashboard for your exact model. For the documented Illustrator-to-Dashboard route, retain centered cut strokes no wider than 0.025 mm and confirm vector recognition. Keep filled black shapes assigned to engraving. This is a conditional software route, rather than a universal direct machine import.
Other CO₂ or diode equipment: Confirm controller/software support. On supported LightBurn systems, import the SVG, verify dimensions, map red contours to a tested Line cut layer and black closed regions to a tested Fill engraving layer. Check Preview, operation order, usable bed and stock approval for the exact machine and wavelength.
Which material and laser settings should I use?
Use only identified stock approved for the exact machine and wavelength. Custom stock needs its own settings checks. No universal thickness, power, speed or pass count is supplied. Follow your maker’s current exhaust, supervision and fire-safety instructions. This design has not been physically test-cut or test-engraved. Test a scrap, then make a complete prototype with your actual software, machine and approved stock before producing a batch. No universal laser preset is supplied.
Can I resize the ornament?
Scale all paths together. Resizing changes the hanging hole, material bridges and engraved details. Check the new dimensions and every operation in Preview, then make a fresh prototype. Select cord for the actual finished hole.
May I sell finished physical items?
Personal projects and sales of finished physical items you make are permitted. Do not resell, share, give away, sublicense or redistribute the SVG, guide, modified digital files or digital parts, including in bundles or shared libraries. The README contains the usage terms; copyright ownership is not transferred.
